Farm at the End of the Road
Welcome to the website offering accommodation and services on the Farm at the end of the Road.
The farmhouse was originally called Dostal's farm by historically known figure of "peasant general" Karel Dostal, who lived in the 18th century.
In the 19th century, the farm was rebuilt into its present form and recently has been renovated, especially theroof and most of the interiors.
The guest house is almost all new, just a stony parts are original.
Farm at the End of the Road is a symbolic name adopted by our family (two adults and eight children) which ended its journey and looking for the way from Prague and Brno through the Highlands right here.
Come to our place and breath the fresh air in places where history went. Stay overnight in a tied cottage, where Karel Dostal rescued poor widow from the clutches of cruel soldier; pass into the rocks near the village on centuries-old stony forest roads; visit the caves, where in the 15th century persecuted Hussites used to meet secretly (and the Evangelicals in the 17th one); visit the site where the bandit gangs raged about whom Karel Capek writes in his Second Robbers Tale; in Adrspach rocks go through the gate, which was seen in the movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ...
Y'all are cordially welcome.
